ISO Documentation Use Policy
It has concluded that the least vulnerable approach regarding obsolete/uncontrolled documents is to declare that all the official, latest revision Marshall Policy Directives (MPD's), Marshall Procedural Requirements (MPR's), and Marshall Work Instructions (MWI's) are to be found in the Master List identified under "Directives" in the Marshall Integrated Document Library (MIDL). Any other documentation is considered historical or reference material. But if obsolete or other documentation not on that Master List is actually being used as other than reference or historical, there must be explicit, documented justification permitting its use.
