Contractors and ISO 9000 at MSFC
Onsite MSFC Contractors who use MSFC documents to perform their work will be audited just like an MSFC Civil Servant.
Onsite MSFC Contractors who are contracted to provide a service to MSFC and use their own procedures, will not be subject to the ISO 9000 Audits. Civil servant personnel who manage the contracts or participated in the selection of the contractor will be audited to ISO requirements for purchasing in clause 7.4.1 of 9001:2000.
Onsite Contractors who are our customers will not be audited.
Off site MSFC Contractors will not be audited.
